Introduction

The Dark Blue Duck Scanning Enabler SandboxTM product enhances Multi-tenant Microsoft® SharePoint offerings adding support for paper and paper workflow.

SharePoint Server running in the Cloud provides a cost effective solution for paper records management and paper workflow (especially for smaller or geographically distributed organisations). Microsoft® Business Productivity Services is an example of a Multi-tenant SharePoint offering.

Our Scanning Enabler SandboxTM solution can be deployed by a site collection administrator or, in certain situations, by a user who has full control at the root of the site collection.

Use our Scanning Enabler SandboxTM product to Scan documents to SharePoint directly from the SharePoint User Interface. Use your existing desktop scanners, a shared desktop scanner or Multifunction Printers (MFPs) via network TWAIN. The Dark Blue Duck Scanning EnablerTM is easy to understand, easy to install and easy to use.

Licensing
Scanning Enabler SandboxTM is licensed on a per user basis. A separate license is required for each workstation or laptop that the product is installed on.
