Introduction

The main Dark Blue Duck Scanning Enabler^TM product enhances Microsoft® Office SharePoint® Server 2007 (MOSS) and Windows® SharePoint® Services 3.0 (WSS) adding support for paper.

Legal professionals, health professionals, public servants and others are benefiting from the combination of Microsoft’s SharePoint products and Dark Blue Duck’s Scanning Enabler. Large organizations are using the Scanning Enabler with MOSS to extend their Enterprise Content Management and search capabilities. Use our flagship product to Scan documents to SharePoint directly from the SharePoint User Interface. System Requirements

Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 Standard, Small Business or Enterprise Edition.
Windows SharePoint Services V3 or Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (32 bit and 64 bit versions)

Licensing

Scanning Enabler is licensed on a per server basis. A separate license is required for each Web Front End server that Scanning Enabler is installed on.

Scanning Enabler Small Business Edition supports up to five scanning workstations. Scanning Enabler Medium Business Edition supports up to twenty five scanning workstations.

Supported Language Packs

Scanning Enabler^TM uses standard windows .resx files to provide multi-language support.
