Introduction

The Dark Blue Duck SharePoint Site Provisioning Service^TM manages the creation and deletion of Windows SharePoint Services sites. If you are manually maintaining a Windows SharePoint Services site for each of your clients, products, business partners, projects or events at the moment this product will save you a great deal of time.

As you update an XML configuration file with the details of a SharePoint List or Database table with details of your clients, products, projects or events, the Site Provisioning Service^TM will create your SharePoint sites for you.

The jobs XML configuration file used to control the operation of the Site Provisioning Service can be updated using any text editor but we incude a custom Microsoft Office InfoPath Form Template so that you can maintain the jobs XML configuration using a forms interface. The InfoPath Template can be used to edit your Site Provisioning configuration either on the server or on a personal computer offline.

Licensing

Site Provisioning Service^TM Small Business Edition for SharePoint is licensed on a per server basis. A separate license is required for each physical server that the software is installed on.
