Introduction

Use the Scanning Enabler 2007^TM Capture^TM Desktop application to bulk load and index your paper documents. Select a SharePoint Content Type and specify "Indexing" Site Column properties for individual scanned documents or multiple scanned documents at one time.

Notice that the Scanning Enabler 2007^TM Capture^TM application provides support for Barcodes, Content Types and Site Column values only when the main Scanning Enabler application is installed on the target SharePoint front end server (the small business, medium business or unrestricted edition).

Licensing

Scanning Enabler 2007^TM Capture^TM is licensed on a per workstation basis. A separate license is required for each desktop computer and laptop computer that Scanning Enabler Capture is installed on.
